The mission of P.S. 85Q is to create a nurturing and supportive environment which fosters social and academic achievement for all students.  We recognize the uniqueness of every child and draw upon these differences to build a collaborative community of learners who exhibit both self respect, and respect for others. Our commitment to parents, guardians , students and to the community at large, is to develop productive, self thinking, problem solving citizens capable of meeting the changes of the 21st century.
